We offer WSET wine certification and Domaine de Cromey’s own 3-day Burgundy Wine program on burgundy wine. Our courses are taught by Stephen Lenahan (WSET), and both Dennis Sherman and Stephen Lenahan (Burgundy).
The Domaine de Cromey is WSET accredited. The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) is a recognized global leader in wine education for both professionals and enthusiasts. A WSET qualification can help you gauge and quantify your knowledge in a structured and internationally recognized way.
We offer two separate WSET courses. These certified courses do not include accommodation. However, accommodation can be provided. Just enquire to arrange…
The Domaine de Cromey 3-day Burgundy Wine program does include accommodations at Cromey.
Situated in the heart of Burgundy, Domaine de Cromey is a special place. Our philosophy of ‘taste – knowledge – passion’ shines through in everything we do; our cooking, our wines, our tastings and our teaching. At the Domaine, we host Burgundy master classes, tailored to suit your needs, where the main focus is Burgundy wine.
This 4-day qualification teaches you about the key grape varieties grown around the world, the different styles of wine obtained from them. A perfect way to challenge your wine knowledge and calibrate your understanding in a structured way.
The course is an introduction to the main countries producing wine in Europe and the so-called new world. You will also learn the basics of vineyard activities, wine making and maturation.
To become a competent taster you require a consistent approach. This course
teaches how to taste wine in a professional manner with the introduction of the
WSET systematic approach to tasting.

Our intention from the outset was an environment where the best of Burgundy could be assembled, shared, and taught. Workshops at Cromey are hands-on sessions where the food and wine of Burgundy truly come alive in the kitchen at Cromey, which was designed as a teaching facility and a workshop, right down to the sliding metal workshop doors.
